1) Player must be underperforming. This is a pretty easy task. Tons of players underperforming.
2) Player must have blow-up potential in the near future. TO is underperforming but he is not going to blow-up in that putrid offense with a horrible qb.
3) Player's perceived value is low. Although Drew Brees stunk it up the last 2 wks, their owners still consider them the top qb in fantasy so you won't be able to trade for him at this point.
Here are the guys that fit the criteria above. You can probably get these players for less than they are actually worth.
- Randy Moss: I think he is going to be the #1 fantasy receiver from this point forward. Trade Ochocinco and an RB for him.
- Tom Brady: Not sure if he fits criteria #3 but I would rather have him than Brees going forward. His schedule gets pretty soft.
- Antonio Gates: This would have looked a lot better if I wrote this a week ago.... I think Dallas Clark and Gates will finish 1-2.
- Reggie Bush: His value has clearly taken a hit. He is still getting red zone touches and you can get him cheaply.
- Anquan Boldin: Top 5 stud if he stays healthy. Better get him before he goes off.
- Darren Sproles: There is a 65% chance of LT getting hurt, making Sproles a stud. If you have depth at WR, maybe swing a deal.
